Core Scientific's third Texas site and the one it documents in the most detail: 431 MW of planned demand in Hunt County, with interconnection studies complete, the stability study approved, collateral posted, long lead equipment ordered and construction started.

A 100,000 sq ft data center filed with the state for a site east of Royse City in unincorporated Hunt County. BT Gateway Data Center LLC registered it in June 2026 at a declared value of $384M, and Giga Energy of Houston was presented to county commissioners in July as having assumed it. The company calls it a micro data center running on spare co-op distribution capacity, and no load has been stated.
