Pacifico Cedar Creek Campus

Last updated

Pre-construction

A data center campus at Cedar Creek in Bastrop County, backed by onsite natural gas generation. The air registration application filed with TCEQ by Pacifico CCK Energy 1 LLC identifies 48 turbines across six model families, about 1,325.76 MW of maximum nominal electrical output, against the roughly 710 MW of onsite generation previously associated with the campus in public. TCEQ registration 185019 was pending at the last status review, and the application states that construction and operation cannot proceed without written approval. Anthropic has been reported to be in lease discussions for the campus, with no lease publicly confirmed.

Power detail
The pending TCEQ air registration identifies 48 natural gas turbines across six model families, adding to about 1,325.76 MW of maximum nominal electrical output. That is a maximum equipment envelope on an application, not approved, constructed or operating generation, and it is well above the roughly 710 MW of onsite generation previously associated in public with the campus. The two figures have not been reconciled and no IT load has been published.
