AMD holds 50 MW on a 10-year lease, and in August 2026 an unnamed frontier AI lab signed for 191 MW over 20 years worth $9.1 billion, 241 MW of the site's 700 MW approved interconnection, with the rest earmarked for conversion.

    About 200 acres Bitdeer bought outright near its existing Rockdale operation in Milam County for roughly $100 million in cash, closed and announced on September 1, 2026, for developing AI and HPC infrastructure. Bitdeer puts its Milam County sites at about 563 MW of interconnected grid capacity, rising to 742 MW under existing plans, with a dedicated water supply and existing transmission and substation infrastructure. No AI or HPC tenant, building design, cooling package or construction filing has been disclosed for the new parcel.
