Switch Round Rock

Last updated

Pre-construction

A Switch colocation campus at 300 Dell Way in Round Rock, Williamson County, next to the Dell headquarters site. A TDLR registration covers a second building of 72,600 sq ft at an estimated $20 million, targeting a June 2026 start and a mid-2028 completion. Trade coverage has put the campus near 185 MW across multiple buildings, and no load figure has been published for the new building. The site is built under a city planned unit development and an economic development agreement requiring at least $80 million of investment by the end of 2026.

Power detail
Trade and directory coverage has put campus level capacity near 185 MW across multiple buildings. That figure is not from a filing. No load has been published for the second building, so whether its incremental draw sits below the 75 MW ERCOT large load threshold is not confirmed.
Power source
Grid supply through Oncor Electric Delivery. No on-site generation has been announced for the second building.
