ERCOT postpones Aug 7 Batch Zero large-load classifications, citing the governor's audit directive
Hours after Gov. Abbott's audit directive, ERCOT issued Market Notice M-A080326-01 stating it will not notify Transmission/Distribution Service Providers of large-load classifications by Aug 7, 2026 as previously scheduled, the first major classification milestone of the newly launched Batch Zero large-load review (generally 75 MW+ projects).
