PowerHouse petitions to move its Uhland campus out of city jurisdiction after resident pushback
Facing what Uhland's city administrator called 'substantial pushback' from residents at an open house, PowerHouse Data Centers (a division of American Real Estate Partners) filed a petition to release its planned 500-acre campus (sited within the larger Caldwell Valley Technology Park) from the City of Uhland's jurisdiction, seeking instead to build under Caldwell County's authority, where counties have no zoning power, cannot issue moratoriums, and must approve a compliant permit within 30 days.
